Talking UP for a Change events have attracted more then 300 business, sports and public service leaders seeking tangible ways to create a more positive, innovative and ambitious Scotland. Commitments and collaborations have formed, yielding tangible shifts in organisational cultures - an accountancy firm embracing the Seattle Fish philosophy to a local council shifting its housing management focus to a recognition and reward approach.
The message has reached a wider audience through media coverage and a round of national speaking engagements. The most recent event brought together the head teachers and pupils of Craigroyston Community High School and the St George’s private school with leaders from all walks of life.
The youngsters demonstrated their musical talents, took part in important discussions and stood tall when delivering some breakthrough ideas from the stage. No wonder the event got so much coverage in the press and on television.
