A great society is one where people care about each other and put this into practice as individuals. We’ve always believed that at Thinktastic, which is why it is so great to be involved today (January 31, 2012) in Caring Together and Getting it Right for Young Carers as part of the Carers and Young Carers Strategy for Scotland. People attending include carers, health service managers, senior directors from the Scottish Government and Michael Matheson MSP, Minister for Public Health. Thinktastic’s public speaker and motivational expert Mike Stevenson is looking to help people to celebrate and share their experiences as carers.
The day is all about sharing good practice, learning from and being inspired by each other – and about highlighting the fantastic work that is done by carers of all ages and backgrounds across Scotland.
