They came from far and wide and from all sectors and they truly lapped it up. The Disney Masterclass, brought to Edinburgh by Thinktastic and its partner Quest for Excellence, was voted a resounding success by the 80 people that took part in a day of fast moving Disney tales, film clips and interactive games and discussions. Disney’s approach to leadership and customer service excellence is world-leading and yesterday at Our Dynamic Earth leaders from Scottish businesses and public services learned some of the secrets behind the entertainment giant’s enduring success.
Opening the event, Thinktastic’s Mike Stevenson urged those in attendance to “take inspiration from the day, stand up and be counted and lead a change in the way we do business. “Imagine, he added, “if every interaction with a customer, patient, guest, member or colleague was to ‘make their day’ – not simply to deliver a service. What impact would that have on our morale, wellbeing and economic success?”
Plans are already underway for another Disney Masterclass in Glasgow during the early part of next year.
