Miss Scotland / Miss UK Katherine Brown joined forces with Thinktastic to give the chop to negative words and phrases after Thinktastic’s workshops yielded a top ten of the most hated things that people report hearing in the workplace. “From ‘I can’t’ and ‘It’s not my job’ to ‘Ah but’ and ‘it’ll never work’ there is a language that holds us back from progress and it’s got to go.” Said Mike Stevenson.
Katherine is backing our campaign all the way and says: “There is far too much negativity around and it passes from one generation to another. Words they may just be, but they are still too powerful and influential in our culture. I’m encouraged by Thinktastic’s campaign and would like to see it spread into ever part of the community.”
