Music, arts workshops, cycling and go-karting accompanied the launch of TACT (the UK’s largest fostering and adoption charity) in Scotland. Thinktastic, responsible for the creative work leading up to the launch, led a discussion among the 100 children and adults that packed into Edinburgh’s Slateford House.
Children were keen to express their views on the Scotland they want to grow up in, with ideas including: No crime, more bikes, less cars, children consulted more, chocolate rivers and lakes, no graffiti, litter free streets, mums and dads to keep promises (better memories for parents), more family fun and great teachers.
