Gill Carrie

‘Hair-Raising’ Inspiration

An entrepreneur at a very young age, Gill Carrie, Thinktastic’s BigThink Presenter set up the first of her hairdressing salons at the age of 19 – achieving astonishing customer retention rates and taking the total salon experience to new levels.  An ambassador for real health and wealth – personal and business – Gill complements the Thinktastic Model.

Professional Speakers Association (PSA) Scotland Member of the Year 2016 and representing PSA Scotland at PSA UK&I’s National Finals of Speaker Factor 2015, Gill uses the power of the ‘Salon’ experience as a catalyst to transform teams and business fortunes – from  ‘attracting, retaining, building clients’ and ‘customer centricity’ to ‘staff stretch learning’ and ‘enhanced profits.’

Young at Heart

Also an established children’s author and publisher (, Gill’s approach is modern and visionary, embracing diversity and change and always practical and powerful.

Her people and business skills were honed locally and globally working with major brands and educational organisations and now, as a speaker, she is kicking higher and higher – no surprise for someone who was once Scotland’s youngest ever Black Belt in karate.
